business strategy
Cytopia seeks to grow into an internationally competitive biotechnology company with a broad pipeline of drug candidates, both by internal development and through strategic acquisitions or mergers.
We are now in a strong position to implement our strategy. This is based on a multifaceted approach in which we aim to:
- Develop our cancer drug candidate to proof of efficacy (Phase II) stage in humans with our own resources.
- Seek a major pharma partner to accelerate and broaden the development of our core JAK kinase program.
- Expand our clinical development pipeline to additional kinase targets.
- Implement a partnering strategy that allows Cytopia to build a clinical development capability whilst at the same time bringing in early revenues to enable later stage development of selected candidates.
- Implement a funding strategy which minimizes dilution to shareholders via a combination of revenues from partnering, asset sales when appropriate and placement of new shares.
- Seek to acquire synergistic technologies and products, or companies with technologies or products, capable of growing our drug development pipeline, particularly with later stage opportunities.
- Ensure that we have the most appropriate and capable management, board of directors and advisors to enable our growth expectations to be achieved.
- Expand the company's operations and investor activities into major markets.
Cytopia implements a strategy of broad patent filings for innovation in all key markets.
